Our principal, Susan McCloskey was nominated a few months ago to represent Seattle as the Elementary Distinguished Principal. There are 18 regions in Washington State and each region nominates a principal for this honor. She was recently informed that she is one of three finalists for the Distinguished Principal Award for Washington State. The reps were at our school recently to tour the school and to interview staff members, students, and parents. Congratulations on becoming a finalist Ms. McCloskey!
From Susan McCloskey:
“I look upon this honor as a tribute to our staff, students, and parents at B. F. Day School because a principal is only as good as the people that she works with. I am very grateful to each of you for the support you give to B. F. Day School and for the huge amount of work that you put in to making B. F. Day a place where kids love to learn.”
