B.F. Day Playground Improvement Project
Community Workshop #2 will take place on Thursday, February 2nd, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the school (exact location TBA).
What’s been happening?
On November 20, 2011, the first of three Community Workshops was held in the gymnasium at the school. Nearly 40 people attended, working in small groups to share their ideas and priorities for improvements to B.F. Day’s outdoor spaces.
Since then, the Design Team has developed a number of alternative concepts that represent the feedback heard both at the Community Meeting and from students as part of a take home assignment. These alternative concept plans will be presented to the community for comment at Community Workshop #2.
