A complete description of all positions is included in the attachment. We are accepting nominations through April 12. Voting for these positions will happen at the May PTSA Board Meeting (date TBA).
Position terms areone year (July 1 – June 30th). No person shall serve in the same office (board position) for more than two consecutive terms.
Executive Board Positions:
President – Oversees the coordination of PTSA activities.
Vice President – Assists President and performs President’s duties in President’s absence as well as managing membership and on-line enrollment. Secretary – Takes minutes and records all businesstransacted at each meeting (board and general membership) of B.F. Day PTSA.
Treasurer – Manage funds of the PTSA on behalf of the membership and board of directors.
Other Chaired Positions:
Enrichment Chair – Oversees all enrichment activities.
Fundraising Chair – Oversees all fundraising activities
Website Manager – Maintain PTSA website and Facebook page.
Internet Communications – Manage email listserv.
On-site Communications – Manage on-site (at BF Day) communications.
Membership Chair – Recruit new PTSA members and collect membership fees.
Room Parent Coordinator – Recruit new Room Parents in beginning of school year.
Square One Art Fundraising Coordinator – Coordinate Square One Art Projects.
